The Presidential Suite

By far grandest suite on the property! It is almost three times the size of our other rooms. It was originally designed to be the owner's Suite. So it's basically a large apartment inside of a very large house.

 

When it came to decorating, I designed it for myself. It had to properly represent the beautiful space that it is as well as being very functional of a boutique hotel.

 

When you first enter the doors you come into your very own 19th century sitting room. I've been collecting antique oil paintings and what better place to display them. There's also a writing desk, a functional 78 RPM hand crank phonograph.

 

Please be gentle with it it's over a hundred years old. We also have a Google home mini so that you can enjoy whatever music you want.

 

Coming into the bedroom portion of the suite. We have a grand king bed, large casement windows that open up to the custom ironwork verandas. A door to your very own private porch where you can watch the world go by.On the other side of the room there is another door that opens up to the grand second floor balcony that is only shared with the Polaroid Room.

 

It all has great views of the Victorian architecture that this block is famous for.Your private bathroom. And what a bathroom it is! We have some bedrooms smaller than this bathroom. Large and ornately tiled, it features a true two person jetted bathtub, a gorgeous sink vanity and a toilet with a bidet on it. Or as we joke, "The Twitter Shitter" based on a past president.

 

This room is absolutely the most popular room with our repeat guests! Have an experience like no other.We insist that you please be respectful of the antiques. They have survived two world wars so far. Let's do our part in preserving them for future generations.
